Two stairs were built for the production, both identical. It was constructed using 1″ box tube. It featured pneumatic cylinder brakes and zero throw casters. All of the portals (house facades) onstage were steel framed free standing units. Upstage I built a bridge in three parts. The stage left and stage right sides were mounted to the stage. Between them the center section tracked upstage and downstage on a winch. I also constructed a gate that tracked on a winch stage right to stage left.
